This photo shows the Gate Quilters handing over a cheque for £4000 to Mount Edgecome Hospice. The Gate Quilters hold an exhibition every two years for a local charity, it last for three days and is held in July at St. Mary's Church, Biscovey.

Creative workshop is a day service provider of a range of Arts,Crafts, Cookery, Computer and Music sessions.  We are able to offer these services to adults with learning and physical disabilities and are tailored to meet their own specific needs.  We provide a quality service to small groups of people to enable them to meet their maximum potential.

The Burrows Centre houses the Happy Days Nursery and various courses take place in the centre for example computer courses. The rooms and hall are rentable and are ideal for meetings and training sessions, birthday parties etc. Lesley Coles runs a course on quilting and patchwork, once a month on a Saturday from 10am till 3.30pm.    Miss Tee's Teashop every Tuesday at 10.30a.m. knit, crochet, embroider, etc. Share ideas, books, magazines and patterns. If anyone has a problem with a project or needs advice, we help and give suggestions. We are a friendly bunch and would love to have more members. At present we have a core of around ten regulars.
